Axis Communications, a leader in network video, has been successful in the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2023. The international jury has awarded AXIS A4020-E Reader and AXIS A4120-E Reader with Keypad the distinction “Red Dot”, which stands for high design quality. This recognition counts as the fifth time the company has received the prestigious Red Dot award.
Securing hazardous areas: the Axis journey of innovation to develop explosion-protected cameras
Hazardous areas classified as having an elevated risk of explosion can have an even greater need for network camera surveillance than non-hazardous areas. There’s a strong requirement to ensure health and safety, yet until relatively recently, the range of solutions available to enhance protection in these areas was limited. This demand set Axis on a path of development to optimize network camera solutions for the hazardous environment.
